About TACO NACO KC

TACO NACO KC is a Mexican-owned, women-led, chef-driven restaurant and market company rooted in Kansas City. What began as a small stand at the Overland Park Farmers' Market has grown into a neighborhood favorite known for bold Mexican flavors, handcrafted products, and welcoming hospitality.

We are looking for a dependable Cashier / Front-of-House to join TACO NACO KC Westport.

Position Overview

Welcome guests at our Westport Taquería & Cantina and help keep service easy, even when the room and bar are busy. You will take orders, explain the menu, coordinate with the kitchen, and make sure pickup orders reach the right guest.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests, take accurate orders, process payments, and confirm any special requests.
• Learn the menu well enough to answer questions and help guests choose confidently.
• Check names, items, and timing on pickup and delivery orders before handoff.
• Stay in communication with the kitchen and bar or service team when orders change or the line builds.
• Keep the counter, dining area, and service supplies clean, stocked, and inviting.
• Follow cash handling, food safety, opening, and closing procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience: 0-1 years.
• A warm, clear way of speaking with guests and teammates.
• Care with details and the ability to keep your place during a rush.
• Reliable attendance and willingness to learn the menu and take feedback.
• Restaurant, retail, or customer service experience is helpful, but not required.
• Spanish proficiency is welcome, but not required.
