Position Overview
Lead our farmers’ market team and market taquería in Overland Park, Kansas. This manager role includes food service, product sales, staff training, and setup. You will prepare the market space, guide the team, and help customers enjoy our food and market products.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan how much food and product to bring. Organize supplies, equipment, transport, loading, setup, and packing after the market.
- Schedule and train the market team. Assign work areas and adjust staffing as the market gets busier or slower.
- Welcome customers, explain prepared food and market products, and handle questions and concerns.
- Display, label, and price products correctly. Keep track of inventory and arrange more stock when needed.
- Follow food safety and market rules, including temperature control, sanitation, and safe product handling.
- Use the register system, handle cash, record daily sales, and track wasted products.
- Build good relationships with customers, nearby vendors, and market organizers. Share feedback and tell managers what the team needs.
Qualifications
- Experience in food service, retail, farmers’ markets, or hospitality. Experience leading a team is preferred.
- Ability to organize a small team and manage customer service, inventory, and cash records.
- Ability to work outdoors in changing weather and set up and move equipment, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Reliable transportation to assigned markets and availability for early mornings and weekends.

Schedule & Work Environment
Part-time. Early Saturday mornings and weekend availability are required. Market hours and season dates will be discussed during hiring.
